NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE NEVADA CITY COUNCIL will hold a Public Hearing pursuant to Government Code ยง66016 in the Council Chambers located at 317 Broad Street, Nevada City, CA, on JUNE 26, 2019 AT 6:30 PM or as soon thereafter, to receive comments concerning: A) Proposed Budget for fiscal year 2019-2020 for the City of Nevada City. B) Appropriation Limit for The City of Nevada City for fiscal year 2019- 2020 as required by Article XIIIB of the California Constitution. Information on these matters is available at the Finance and Administration Department at Nevada City Hall during normal business hours. The Council will consider at the public meeting statements and testimony submitted for or against this matter. The Council, thereafter, shall take whatever final action it determines necessary and appropriate on this matter. Any public hearing may be continued to a later date. If you challenge the Council's action in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Council at, or prior to, the public hearing.
