NOTICE BY THE NEVADA CITY PLANNING COMMISSION TO CONSIDER A VARIANCE APPLICATION BY GARRETT CHOWTO ENCROACH WITHIN THE DEER CREEK SETBACK AND WITHIN AREAS OF STEEP SLOPES FOR A PROPOSED RESIDENCE LOCATED AT 377 WYOMING ROAD, NEVADA CITY NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Thursday, April 15, at 1:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter that the matter may be heard, the Nevada City Planning Commission will hold a public meeting at City Hall, 317 Broad Street, Nevada City, California to consider the following: Application for a Variance Garrett Chow, property owner to construct a 2,200 square foot residence and a detached garage/ADU structure. The primary residence will be constructed on an existing graded pad area, some portions of which encroach within the 100-foot setback of Deer Creek. Portions of both the primary residence and the ADU will encroach within steep slopes in excess of 30%. NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that written comments may be filed with the City Planner during regular working hours at City Hall prior to said hearing. Comments can be submitted to 317 Broad Street, Nevada City, CA 95959 or via email at Email Me. A copy of the complete application is on file and is available for inspection at City Hall.
