NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BY THE NEVADA CITY PLANNING COMMISSION TO CONSIDER A USE PERMIT APPLICATION BY RACHEL BUDDE TO PROVIDE OUTDOOR DINING TO THE EXISTING OUTDOOR PATIO ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 426 BROAD STREET, NEVADA CITY NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at 1:30 p.m.. or as soon thereafter that the matter may be heard, the Nevada City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at City Hall, 317 Broad Street, Nevada City, California to consider the following: Use Permit Amendment Application by Rachel Budde to utilize the existing outdoor patio area at 426 Broad Street for dining and refreshments associated with the Kosmos Spa(ce). The property is within a base zoning district of General Business (GB) which allows for outdoor restaurant use with approval of a Conditional Use Permit. The existing use within the building is already authorized for use as a wellness spa. NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that written comments may be filed with the City Planner during regular working hours at City Hall prior to said hearing. A copy of the complete application is on file and is available for inspection at City Hall and the proposed Notice of Exemption is available for review at the City's website at on the Planning Department page.
