NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given that the Grass Valley Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, July 21, 2020, at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as this matter can be heard, in the Council Chambers at Grass Valley City Hall, 125 East Main Street, Grass Valley, California, for the following projects: Development Review and Minor Use Permit (20PLN-08) for the development of a mixed-use project consisting of ±4,203 square foot of commercial (4 tenant spaces) on the first floor with ±3,401 square foot of apartments (5 units) on the second floor. The site includes existing parking and landscaping in the Town Core (TC) Zone. A Minor Use Permit is required to expand the legally non-conforming building with a rear setback less than 10 feet (APN: 008-372-006). Environmental Determination: Categorical Exemption. Development Review Permit (20PLN-12) for the construction of a 10,000 square foot office building and related improvements for Chapa-De Indian Health Center in the Central Business (C-2) Zone. The project is located on Sierra College Drive, northwest of the Chapa-De Indian Health Center (APNs: 035-260-074, 035-330-015 & 016). Environmental Determination: Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration. Tentative Subdivision Map (19PLN-24) for the division of a ±6.35-acre parcel into 24 single family lots ranging in size from 6,270 square feet (Lot 24) to 10,670 square feet (Lot 1) in the Single Residential (R-1) Zone. Project is located at 2418 Ridge Road and 1030 Deeken Court (APNs: 008-050-005 & 008-060-016). Environmental Determination: Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration In response to Governor Newsom's Executive Order related to the COVID-19 pandemic, public participation in the City of Grass Valley Planning Commission meeting shall be electronic only, and without a physical location for public participation. After considering all written and verbal testimony, the Planning Commission shall take whatever final action is determined necessary and appropriate.
